Lamb Burger — Cooking Guide

About This Product

Our Lamb Burger is made from ground lamb with a rich, distinctive flavour — a flavourful twist on burger night, perfect for the grill or a hot pan.

How to Cook It

  1. Form patties gently (don't overwork the meat) and season the outside just before cooking.
  2. Grill or pan-sear over medium-high heat, about 4–5 minutes per side, flipping only once.
  3. Don't press down on the patty — this squeezes out the juices.
  4. Cook all the way through, then rest 2–3 minutes before serving.

Safe Internal Temperature

Cut Internal Temp
Ground beef, pork, or lamb 71°C / 160°F

Because it's ground meat, cook all the way through — there is no food-safe "medium-rare" for burgers or patties. Check with a digital meat thermometer. (Source: Health Canada safe cooking temperature guidelines.)

Chef's Tip

Press a shallow dimple in the center of each patty before cooking so it stays flat instead of puffing into a dome.
