About This Cut
Our Organic Free Range Chicken Breast is boneless, skinless, and raised without antibiotics or added hormones (as with all chicken in Canada, hormones are never permitted) on an organic diet. Lean but full of flavour, it takes well to a good rub or marinade and cooks quickly on the grill, in a pan, or in the oven.
How to Cook It
- Pound to an even thickness for consistent cooking; season or marinate.
- Sear in a hot, oiled pan 4–5 minutes per side, or grill over medium-high heat.
- Finish in a 190°C/375°F oven if needed until the center reaches temperature.
- Rest 5 minutes before slicing.

Chef's Tip
Pounding to an even thickness is the single biggest fix for dry chicken breast.
