Pesto Chicken Pasta Salad — Reheating Guide

About This Product

Our Pesto Chicken Pasta Salad is a vibrant, fresh dish made with tender chicken, perfectly cooked pasta, and a rich basil pesto that brings everything together. Prepared in-house at HQ Meats, this pasta salad is tossed with sun-dried tomatoes, sweet corn, crisp cucumber, and creamy bocconcini.

How to Reheat It

  1. Thaw in the refrigerator if frozen — never at room temperature.
  2. Cover and reheat in a 160°C/325°F oven until heated through (timing varies by size/portion), or reheat gently on the stovetop, stirring occasionally.
  3. A microwave works for single portions — cover and stir partway through for even heating.

Safe Reheating Temperature

What Internal Temp
Pre-cooked/prepared foods 74°C / 165°F

Reheat leftovers and prepared foods to at least 74°C/165°F throughout, checked with a digital thermometer. Only reheat once. (Source: Health Canada safe cooking temperature guidelines.)

Chef's Tip

Reheat only the portion you plan to eat — repeated reheating increases food-safety risk and dries the dish out.
