Slow Braised Pork Pie — Reheating Guide

About This Product

Our HQ Meats Slow Braised Pork Pie features tender, slow-braised pork in a rich gravy, made in-house.

How to Reheat It

  1. Thaw in the refrigerator if frozen — never at room temperature.
  2. Cover and reheat in a 160°C/325°F oven until heated through (timing varies by size/portion), or microwave individual portions, checking partway through.
  3. Uncover for the last few minutes in the oven if you want the crust to crisp back up.

Safe Reheating Temperature

What Internal Temp
Pre-cooked/prepared foods 74°C / 165°F

Reheat leftovers and prepared foods to at least 74°C/165°F throughout, checked with a digital thermometer. Only reheat once. (Source: Health Canada safe cooking temperature guidelines.)

Chef's Tip

Reheat only the portion you plan to eat — repeated reheating increases food-safety risk and dries the dish out.
